Measuring for a rollerblind with cord pull
Step 1 – First, using a metal tape measure, measure across the top of the window, the middle, and the bottom.
Step 2 – If you are not fitting the blind into a recess, please skip this step. Make a note of the smallest measurement. Deduct 2 centimetres from this measurement, this will be the finished width size that you enter on the site.
Step 3 – Then do the same steps as step 1 for the drop – measuring from the top of the recess down to the bottom of the window sill. Write down the smallest measurement. We recommend keeping a small roll of fabric at the bottom of the blind of at least 10cm, this helps with weight and stability. It will also make it easier to roll up and down.
For example if your window recess measurements are 90cm width and 120cm drop.
90cm – 2cm = Finished blind width is 88cm
120cm + 10cm = Finished blind height 130cm
All bespoke blinds are produced with hand by our production team and made to size on the order, we cannot make these deductions for you. Each blind is unique and due to the construction of the slats and weaving of the blinds, we can not guarantee hitting your measurements 100%. There is an error margin of up to 0.5cm.

Measuring for a rollerblind with chain pull – inside mount
Step 1 – First, using a metal tape measure, measure across the top of the window, the middle, and the bottom.
Step 2 – The narrowest measurement of the three is the measure we call the recess width. This will be the finished size for the width of the blind. Please note, the system will automatically apply 0.4mm to ensure there is room for the brackets and bracket covers when installed horizontally or vertically as described in the installation guide. If you want to install the brackets in a different way, please contact us.
Step 3 – Then, do the same for the drop — measuring from the top of the recess down to the bottom of the window sill. This will be the finished size for the height of the blind.
These will be the dimensions when placing the order on our website.
Things to note:
Check that your recess is deep enough to fit the blind into, also bearing in mind any obstructions such as window or handles.
Please note, the system will automatically apply 0.4mm to ensure there is room for the brackets and bracket covers when installed horizontally or vertically as described in the installation guide. If you want to install the brackets in a different way, please contact us.
The fabric width will always be narrower than the recess width, leaving a gap of approximately 2,5 cm on each side of the blind.

Measuring for a rollerblind with chain pull – outside mount
Step 1 – First, using a metal tape measure, measure across the top of the window, the middle, and the bottom. For outside mount please add 10 cm to the biggest width dimension to minimize light leakage.
Step 2 – Then, do the same for the drop — measuring from the top of the recess down to the bottom of the window sill. The overlap at the bottom of the blind is a matter of personal choice but please take into account obstacles such as radiators.
This will be the finished size for the height of the blind.
Use the width measure and the finished height of the blind measure when placing your order on our website.
If you have a window frame around the window, please take this into account and adjust the width accordingly.
If in doubt, please contact us for guidance.
